LinkedIn Marketing API Usage
CreatifyHQ uses the LinkedIn Marketing APIs to help users publish professional content to their own profiles and company pages, and to retrieve aggregate analytics.
Requested Products and Permissions
- Sign In with LinkedIn – authenticate users and get their member ID.
- Share on LinkedIn – create posts on member profiles and organization pages.
- Organization Access – list organizations where the member has admin rights.
- Analytics – read basic post metrics for dashboards.
All posts are authored explicitly by the user inside CreatifyHQ. We do not auto‑generate posts without user review.
Usage Scenarios
Member Profile Posting
- User connects their LinkedIn account.
- They select “My Profile” as a destination inside CreatifyHQ.
- We call the UGC Post API on their behalf using their member ID.
Organization Page Posting
- We retrieve a list of organizations where the user is an admin.
- User chooses which company page to link.
- Posts scheduled in CreatifyHQ are published to that organization page.
Data Practices
We store:
- LinkedIn member ID and organization IDs.
- Access tokens (encrypted) needed to post and fetch analytics.
- Post IDs and timestamps for analytics and error handling.
We do not:
- Scrape or store connection networks.
- Use profile data outside of CreatifyHQ’s posting and analytics features.
